Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The standout items at The Divine Greek include the hot shot parmo, which countless fans rave about for its crispy exterior and tender chicken. Many also appreciate the generous portion sizes, often leading to leftovers for the next day. This restaurant’s garlic sauce and variety of dips earn high praise, creating bursts of flavor that elevate every dish.

Guests enjoy the casual atmosphere, which fosters a laid-back vibe. The welcoming staff adds to the charm. Frequent visitors often highlight the quick service, making it a go-to for both dine-in and takeaway meals, particularly after long days. There's a camaraderie among locals who often return for their favorites, creating a vibrant community vibe.

Most Disliked

Despite its many charms, The Divine Greek is not without its drawbacks. Some diners express a desire for delivery options, as the current collection-only policy can be inconvenient, especially on busy nights. Additionally, the cash-only payment method can catch newcomers off guard, although there is a cash machine nearby.

A few patrons mention that during peak dining hours, long waits are common, and seating can be a challenge. While the food largely receives rave reviews, some might find the prices a touch on the higher side for a takeaway, especially after factoring in the wait time. Addressing these concerns could help enhance the overall dining experience for all guests.

Got a large pepperoni pizza and it was unreal. Absolutely love this little pizza shop, just a bit pricey for pizza. Obsessed with their regular parmos!!!

Hot shot parmo is the best I've had from a takeaway. The portions are big so a regular lasted me two meals. Would be even better if they did delivery but it's collection only.

My most favourite place to get a parmo on Teesside! We have been in Wales 2 years now and every time we are back, we have to get a parmo from here! Staff are so friendly, food is always insanely good! The boxes are such good value and such big portions! Cash only however there is a cash machine just outside

Had the Santorini parmo and a Espania pizza, the Parmo was fantastic well cooked chicken both in the base and the topping and the Espania had a nice level of heat! First time going but won't be the last despite not being local

These photos don't do it justice. Very good quality ingredients for a takeaway. They do cost a little more than your run of the mill parmo fayre but it's worth it. One criticism was the wait beyond the estimated collection time, about 10 minutes. Wasn't the end of the world and seemed this is par for the course here; but the food doesn't seem rushed or suffered for it. Not worthy of a mark down. Even the chips are better quality than the norm, a bit like the Aunt Bessies coated ones. Salad good and the garlic is really lush. Slightly potent even! Will be back here, for definite.

Well what can I say. Outstanding food. We bought a wide variety of dishes for a big group of people. The food was excellent from the meat dishes right through to the selection of dips. A little bit of a wait but that is to be expected at six O'clock on a Friday. Service was great with one of the staff helping us carry the bags of super scrummy food out to the car. Strongly recommend.
